The Talent Management Department supports the visions of Huntsville City Schools by building capacity through leadership and talent management strategies that enhance the professional skills of teachers and leaders.
Primary roles and responsibilities include:
- Recruiting, selecting, and assisting in the placement of qualified education professionals
- Conducting and coordinating a wide variety of on-going professional development activities for teachers and for aspiring and practicing administrators
- Conducting yearly needs assessments to ensure alignment of professional development activities to district instructional goals.
